The Supreme Court’s decision on marriage equality was a quite a grand finale for Gay Pride Month.

Artsy, an online magazine, marks the landmark decision by honoring 11 artists, among them Nan Goldin, Keith Haring and Patricia Cronin, whose work “demonstrates the power visual culture has to explore, share, and make relateable queer narratives — even if, in the time they were created, politics lagged behind.”
