ArtsATL knows how to throw a party — or to find people who do. Hats off to the artists who made “Bodies of Art,” our November 8 fund-raiser at the Goat Farm Arts Center, special:

• Felipe Barral for “Fire Woman,” whose monumental projected images and original music transformed the Goat Farm’s Goodson Yard.

• John Welker of the Atlanta Ballet who choreographed “Night of the Flying Horses” especially for the space and the evening, and to the dancers of Atlanta Ballet’s Wabi Sabi for a captivating performance.

• The Artist Teachers of the Atlanta Music Project for their spirited performance of Mendelssohn’s String Quartet in D Major, Op. 44, No. 1, First Movement.

And special thanks to Anthony Harper and Chris Melhouse of the Goat Farm, and their wizardly crew, for the flawless execution of a somewhat complicated event.

Here’s Felipe’s video scrapbook of the evening. Whether you were there or not, we hope you enjoy it!
