Young Danish “starquitect” Bjarke Ingels of BIG, whose Stavanger Concert House (above) won a Golden Lion at the 2004 Venice Biennale, speaks at 6 p.m. in the Reinsch-Pierce Family Auditorium at Georgia Tech.

Thursday, February 17

A screening of “Fire in My Belly,” David Wojnarowicz’s censored video, followed by a panel discussion, previously discussed. 7 p.m. in White Hall, Emory University.

WonderRoot’s 4th Local Filmmakers’ Night. 9-11 p.m., Plaza Theatre. $6.

Self-taught artist Mr. Imagination, king of the bottle caps. 7-9 p.m., Barbara Archer Gallery.

Saturday, February 19

Westside Arts District Saturday Art Walk. Scheduled events:

11 a.m. “Creative Lives & Careers: Art Ecologies.” Panel discussion with Diane Barber of DiverseWorks, Kristan Kennedy of PICA and Raechell Smith of H&R Block Artspace. Atlanta Contemporary Art Center.

1 p.m. Jiha Moon, curator of “Life Iconic,” at Get This!

2 p.m. Artist Michael Scoggins at Saltworks.

3 p.m. Karen Tauches, curator of  “. . . After the Suburbs,” at Kiang Gallery.
